Title: Absolutely love this set up for my 2 turtles and 2 fish!
Review: This setup for aquatic turtles is perfect. It is large enough to let them swim and bask all they want. The bridge is a really nice basking platform. The filter is really great! My tiny turtles can climb it! The fake plant laid sideways gives them another place to rest, in the water. The lights provide the perfect light and temp the turtles need. I truly believe this is a great value.

Title: Morla loves her new crib
Review: Thankfully the tank made it to me in perfect condition! The directions made set up clear and easy. As a new turtle owner I appreciate that this kit comes with everything I need as I continue to educate myself on all things turtle care. Morla is 2 1/2 inches long and this tank seems to be a perfect size for her until she grows out of it. I did notice that her water got a bit cloudy by the 3rd or 4th day (I’m guessing from the river rock dirt leftover after rinsing, food, and turtle poops) so I did grab a biological turtle habitat cleaner which has helped a bunch with clearing up cloudy water. I’m a newbie when it comes to filter performance and I’ve seen others say the filter the kit comes with sucks. I’ve been testing her water quality regularly and everything is staying in safe ranges so I’m thinking it’s doing it’s job. In conclusion I definitely recommend this kit if you’re a new owner with a small turtle!

Title: A year going strong, and I love it.
Review: I’ve owned this tank for about a year now. I forgot to rate it, but I usually don’t unless it’s deserving. My turtle is a year old now and has grown quite big. The tank is beautiful, and the materials provided were great. I didn’t receive the fake plants or rocks, but that’s alright. The pump was easy to assemble, aesthetically concealed, and simple to clean. After having it for a year, there are no leaks, no cracks, and it’s very durable. Some deterioration is expected, but this is great.

Title: Great setup, especially for new turtle owner.
Review: The aquarium kit arrived late Tuesday and I set it up Wednesday morning. My baby eastern painted turtle arrived late Wednesday afternoon. The kit is perfect for new turtle owners, as it comes equipped with everything you need to get started; plus a couple small samples of freeze-dried food. My little guy didn’t seem too interested in eating, but once I put a couple of the sample blood worms near him, he seemed to really like them. My kit came with 2 of the large lamps instead of one large and one small, but I don’t think it’s a problem. We keep our house pretty warm, so the water temperature stays consistent. Little Raphael loves basking under the lamps on his platform area. Yes – named after a Ninja Turtle – and it seems fitting as Raphael is the fighter and quick to action. I have caught little Raph having a couple zoomies, swimming like a crazy turtle all around his aquarium. I did buy a water heater to use in the winter when it gets colder out and inside.I would highly recommend this setup.

Title: Nice set. Works pretty good for our 3 baby RES turtles.
Review: Would have given 5 stars, but there’s a few reasons why I didn’t. The locks on the lid were poorly made and wobbly, and the entire lid has to be removed for feedings. A piece of the big one fell off into my tank, which I had to find in the rocks, and get out. I got a screw of the same size but with a bigger head and it worked better. I would recommend getting a stand for the lights, it’s safer, and easier. I bought a different lid that has a small hatch opening, which can be opened for feedings, etc. so I don’t have to remove the lid every time. This Reptofilter is really cool looking, and our turtles love basking on it, however it wasn’t keeping the water clear at all, and our tank is only half full… don’t know how they say it works up to 55gal… yeah right!! I added the Whisper filter from our previous 10gal tank, to the other side of the tank, and it’s good now. I also had to add a turtle ramp/dock next to the rock filter because our turtles were not able to climb onto it without one, as the max water level for the filter is too low for them to reach the top. They are 1yr old RES turtles, so maybe as they get a little bigger they’ll be able to get up there without the ramp, but for now it’s fine how we’ve got it set up, and they’re all happy. You’ll also have to purchase a water heater, but Amazon has some pretty good ones, for a low price.

Review: Â Make sure you fill the water to at the least the minimum water level but not above the maximum level. I didnât realize there was a min/max level until it started spitting out foam and making noise, nearly fried the motor. Also, thereâs not much space for any more media material inside the filter cave. If you add anything it wonât work properly; the water doesnât filter through fast enough and has the potential to fry the motor. I have an exterior canister filter to make up for it, but itâs worth mentioning. Simple set up. Comes with case filter, basking platform, a few plants, turtle food, heat lamp and UV lamp, mesh cover. Iâve added several things as you can see and Iâm almost finished. Utterly satisfied with it.

Review: Â UPDATE: Had this tank running since January and noticed the paint is coming off the platform and filter. So ive had to replace them cause i dont think its good for my red eared slider.Very happy I got it on sale just before Christmas! Gifted this tank to my 17 year old as he is obsessed with turtles. Tanks have come a long way since I got my turtle when I was little ( rehomed him 6 yrs ago, he’s over 30 yrs old!!)But this tank comes with lots of nice stuff. I like the decorative filter. Waterfall noise doesn’t bother us at all. I bought river pebbles. I have a heater and thermometer coming and then hopefully turtle soon!Set up was easy. I rinsed everything first. Overall we are very satisfied with this purchase!

Review: I received a not-working UV light bulb and reported the issue right away, but didn’t get any response within 3 days.The size info in (cm) is completyly wrong, it says Item dimensions L x W x H 86.2 x 40.2 x 44.9 centimeters, while it actually is much smaller.As this product includes many items, and only one of them doesn’t work, I don’t want to repalce all of them or return it just because of one. But that doesn’t mean my issues not deserving handling.Very bad experience for this purchase, actually the worest for me.Think about the vendor before you buy it!

Review: The filter system stopped working within the 1st few weeks. We were very disappointed with this. The tank looks great with all of the pieces that came with it, however – it does NOT work!!! We were so very disappointed to spend this much money on a product that proved to be garbage.
