Review: I have many craftsman 20 volt cordless tools so when I ordered this when I became aware of it. I have used it a LOT since my purchase because it is amazingly effective, easy-to-use, easy on batteries, lightweight, and small. It can cut surprisingly large branches, surprisingly easily and quickly. I had used even smaller chainsaws but they did not have an oil reservoir but when I saw that this had one, I gave away the other one and got this. It is easy on oil and I have cut a lot of wood with the original chain with no need for sharpening yet. This is ideal for pruning trees.

Title: Great lightweight chainsaw
Review: Got this for my husband. Our hazelnut tree has many trunks from years before we bought this house. Some are dead so he needed a small size chainsaw to cut them down. Most are probably 6-8â around. Works great and saved him hours of sawing. Price was great.

Title: Bang for your buck
Review: I love Craftsman tools and I really like this saw. It works for the purpose in which i bought it which was to chop up tree limbs. I love that it is cordless and light. The thing i do not like is that itâs not super powerful especially when the battery is low. The charge doesnât last super long (maybe an hour if you are doing a lot of cutting). The other thing is the chain keeps coming of the tracks. I had no problem with this right away, but once it happened it seems to continue happening. Kind of a nuisanceâ¦overall good for the money

Title: Perfect for my tasks
Review: I purchased this specifically for harvesting firewood while camping and light trail maintenance. I bring 2.0 batteries with me and I have been able to harvest enough firewood for a night. I would recommend buying a set of larger batteries though. The chain is okay but not the sharpest our of the box. Overall seems very well made and it’s size makes it easy to pack and carry. Only odd thing is the chain gard does function as break. My Verdict is I’m very happy with the saw and expect go get a lot of use out of it.

Title: Much lighter than a gas chainsaw but still able to do most of the same work
Review: We have some property and this winter we lost at least 10 oak trees…BIG oak trees. The Mrs. doesn’t like it when I use one of my gas chainsaws when she isn’t around so I got this small electric one instead. I’ve found that it is much lighter and easier to use than my gas saw but it can do so much of what I would use the gas saw to do. Most trees are made up of branches that are less than 10″ so I use this for most of the prep work and just finish cutting the big stuff with the gas saws. Even the stock chain lasted longer than I expected, but that is getting replaced now that it is slowing down. Sure, it’s not as fast as a gas saw, but it doesn’t wear me out as fast as the gas saw either. Only thing I would have liked is that it came with the big battery instead of the small one (but I have several other batteries that came with my other Craftsman tools that work when this battery runs out).

Review: We love this little chainsaw. It has cut down small trees very easily. Chopped up the trees and bushes so they fit in our yard waste bin. I would highly recommend it.
