Title: It’s a perfect portable solution and has saved lots of $$$ on energy costs!
Review: I live in an old apartment and the heater is not very efficient. I rarely run the heater, but there are times this winter where I needed to warm up my apartment. However, this year the central heating seemed to continuously blow cool or lukewarm air.I had my apartment heater checked out and it seemed to work, but then it was running all night and not really making a difference in the temperature. I have cats and was hesitant on getting a portable heater, simply because of safety.I wanted something that was safe and easy to use, energy efficient, well constructed, and actually heat up my unit. Well, after seeing so many great reviews, I decided on this one and absolutely LOVE it!!So far it has worked exactly as it should and my place gets nice and warm. We are all happy campers. For the size it is tiny but mighty and I can see how easy it would be to take this anywhere I may be staying or travelling to.It is lightweight and great! Highly recommended for anyone who just needs to keep warm and doesn’t want to fuss with something to big or clunky. Oh, and btw, it heats up very quickly, so that is a huge plus!

Title: Great littler heater!
Review: Works great! I bought this to use under my desk at work. The tip feature is nice for safety. I like that it you set it to a spot, it will kick on/off as needed for climate control!Due to rules at work though, I couldn’t have it there. (I work in a corporate doctor’s office so we have stiff rules – yay.)I now use it in my bathroom (that does not have any heat (old house from 1945) and it does a great job in there.Recommended!

Title: Exactly what I expected
Review: Unpacking it was simple. Getting it up and running was equally as simple. It heated quickly and my first issue came up which is NOT an issue for long. The ‘New’ smell, When turning it on the smell got BAD with the heat. Nothing so drastic as “Leave the room while it runs for the first 5 minutes” just “Whelp that’s going to smell for a bit” So DO NOT start pulling out the Febreze! It heated up VERY quickly when set to max (Which is probably where it will stay most of the time) I did however test the sound and sadly it’s not very quiet. It does provide even white fan back round noise which can easily be ignored after a time. This sound stays on in every mode (Fan. Mode 1, and Mode 2) The only way to get rid of that sound and keep it ‘on’ is to turn the temperature down until it’s basically off. But again it works as I had hoped/expected. My only dislike (Aside from the ‘new’ smell of it heating up for the first time) is the dials are difficult to read from the front, where the heat comes out (As they appear upside down) All in all it’s a wonderful small heater that can easily fit onto just about any surface. It starts heating very quickly, much quicker then I expected of a small heater like this. Although I didn’t get to see if it would heat the entire room it worked well for what I needed. There is a ‘click’ sound if the heater is tipped as there is a small plunger foot at the bottom. The weight of the heater keeps the plunger firmly against the bottom. If the bottom of the heater tips just enough (Far less then I actually expected) The plunger pops out and the machine totally turns off! This is a wonderful safety feature, and you can EASILY tell it’s off, as stated before not only does it click but it will also more then likely have the ‘white noise’ of the fan on. So if it EVER should fall you will notice the lack of sound and the sudden click. I can see it EASILY heating up small rooms such as bed rooms and bathrooms. For my needs it works wonderfully which is just heating up a small section in a very large room. It heated the area in front of it very well and evenly despite the openness of the room and the look on my mother’s face who helped me test was perfect. For my needs this heater fits spectacularly!TL;DR. Things of note. ‘New’ smell when heating up for the 1st time, quickly dissipates. Provides white noise (Fan). Dials look upside down from front of the machine, can easily get use to this.Edit : I bought 2 heaters and wrote the above review, November 17, 2020. As of this year. 2022. 1 of those 2 heats works perfectly still! The other after MANY falls, and a cat attack has finally passed. These heaters were and are still well worth their price.

Title: Don’t knock it, till you’ve tried it.
Review: I’m going to be brutally honest with you; because if not, karma has a funny way of getting backat you. It arrived in 3 days in it’s original box with the address label attached to it. (not inside the usual plastic shipping bag, or inclosed inside of another box) anyway, the box hardly weighed anything. Years ago, I came to learn that whenever I would visit a second-hand store, and when I would pick up an appliance off the shelf that hardly weighed anything (compared to the better products) they would be much, much, heavier, that’s because the better made product(s) are equipped with better guts;brass fittings, gears, etc. that would make the appliances or whatever much heavier and not make it appear like as if it was a lightweighted toy. Anyway, after thoroughly reading the instructions, and plugging it in and turning it on, I noticed that there was absolutely no heat coming out at all. I was very discouraged. I pinched myself, and said out loud, okay, I just got done thoroughly reading the instructions, and I know that I’m doing this right. But there’s absolutely no heat whatsoever. I was ready to send it back but I was too busy going in and out of the E.R. and said to myself, as soon as everything goes well, I’ll make arrangements to have it returned. I said to myself, I don’t get it? There’s 79,000 people that love it. But mine does not heat up at all. I hear the motor running, it’s on high at 1500 watt power, and I’m moving the thermostat up and down to see if I hear the click I’m supposed to hear, and the unit is right up against my face, and it doesn’t burn at all whatsoever. (At first, I thought it wasn’t working because it didn’t have that bright orange colored heating element on.) (Though I knew that the orange colored element that you would see in the photo, was just to represent the heat coming out much like other heaters that would be displayed on the Internet but it doesn’t come with a bright orange colored heating element. I wish I had a video to post,but I’m old school and I didn’t know how to do it to prove to each and everyone of you reading this review. So I gently put it back into the box. And said to myself, I’m going to try it one more time just to see. I plugged it in, and left the knob on the right hand side, to the 1500 watt power. (On High) And nothing happened. I would put my hand and face right against the heat source, but there was still no heat coming out. I then said to myself, it may just be that this particular unit, is a defective one; and that is why it was less expensive than the other colors they had. (Perhaps, just to get rid of it because they knew it was a defect, or that someone returned it. etc. etc. So I left it running anyway just to see.After about an hour of running, I felt the heat for the very, very, first time. And yes, it heats up well. Maybe it was something that I may have triggered to make it work properly after the shipping and handling may have caused it to malfunction. I like the fact that it has a tiny spring loaded thumbtack looking peg towards the bottom that if, and when, it tips over, or picked up off the floor, the little spring loaded mechanism on the bottom extends out a little allowing it to automatically shut off. As far as the noise, the best way I can describe this is: you cup both of your ears (much like a broadcaster would do) but pointing your hands towards your mouth instead of across so that you may hear what I am describing properly. And then you make the sound as if you’re exhaling while breathing fog onto your glasses much like how you would do when you want to wipe them clean.And that’s pretty much what it sounds like.(but not louder than that). As far as the wind output, it’s like when you’re holding your breath, and then blow it out as fast as you can. I then did the true test that no one would ever think of. What I did was: I got a sheet of flimsy cellophane wrap. I turned on the unit, and walked backwards to see how far back it would be before the heat and the fan would reach the cellophane. It was working/heating up to 42″ inches away that I was I was able to measure with a tape measure.

Review: I’m not sure about the thermostat as it’s never shut off on its own while using the heat (it doesn’t turn on for the fan unless the thermostat thing is set at a certain point though). It does get a bit warm but nothing disturbingly so. I have a small living room and kitchen – in the living room I’ll put it across from the electric fireplace and turn it on and in no time my cold basement suite is a nice toasty 75. It’s a little noisy but not overbearing. In the kitchen I’ll put it on one side and another smaller space heater on the other and my kitchen, which is always cold, warms up in about 15 minutes and stays warm long enough for me to cook some food. My basement suite loses heat rather quickly (landlord’s special) but running this for 5-10 minutes warms it up enough to be comfortable.I also like that it has a fan – since my kitchen doesn’t have a vent or ventilation of any sort, I open the window in my living room, set this fan at the window and aim it towards the kitchen, and set another fan on the oven and force air from outside through the house and into the bathroom which does have a fan and ventilation. It’s powerful enough to send the air across the living room.Would recommend. It’s a good heater.
