INSTRUCTIONS FOR HINGED DOORS Step 1

Adjust the length of the bar by pressing the gold button and slightly rotating either tube.

Step 2

Snap the Y-shaped head of the safety bar under the door handle

Step 3

Slide the bottom rubber foot in towards the door until it’s snug and tight.

Step 4

Take care to keep the rubber head free of gaps in the ground.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SLIDING DOORS & WINDOWS Step 1

Adjust the length of the bar by rotating either tube.

Step 2

Align the bottom with the sliding door/window frame.

Step 3

Attach the rubber caps to the top.

Step 4

Press the security bar down until it is secure.

Review: This upgraded security bar is easy to use I have 3 in my home 1 located at front door and 2nd located at back door. I also have one located in my patio window. This is a great value. Title: Itâs Super Sturdy and can be set to the Perfect Lebgth
Review: I have a whole house security system covering doors and windows, but I always worried about entry through the basement. Itâs 2-stories lower and on the other side of the house from the bedrooms, so it would be hard to hear someone trying to break in. Whether or not the alarm was triggered, I wanted a way to stop them from getting through the basement door. This thing is sturdy, not like the thin bars Iâve seen in stores. The top fits perfectly around my door knob, and you can adjust the length so the bottom grips the floor. And it does grip the floor! The floor grip is on a slant, so it hits the floor flat. I have wood floors so I canât say how it would do on carpet, but I feel confident that it would give us enough time to alert the police and get to a safe location. It doesnât cost a lot, and I think the added security is worth it. Iâll report back if Iâm unfortunate enough to have to test its performance (Itâs compact enough that Iâd take it with us on vacation.)
