Title: Amazing air hammer
Review: I bought the dewalt one thinking it would be good, it’s the worst air hammer on the market. Pretty disappointing. But this air hammer hits hard and fast. 3x better than the dewalt. I’ve tore a lot of tile out with it. Makes tile removal the easiest money on the job. Even really well stuck tile comes up pretty easily, just sit on your knees and pull the trigger. Easy money. Well worth the 50 bucks or whatever.

Title: Works great for carier bearings
Review: This little hammer is inexpensive and works great for the money. I may not ever use it again, but glad I have it in the tool box if I do end up needing it. My ’08 highlander needed a CV axle and the carier bearing was froze solid. Soaked with pentrating oil, beat it, yanked on it, did everything under the sun. Purchased this with the a flat hammer tool and it walked itself right out after about 30 mins. A+ for a back yard DIY’er.

Title: Gun works well but hard on the wrist
Review: This hammer gun is well made and takes some hard use. I bought it mainly because of manufacturer and it came with quick change bit holder. I used it for several hours tearing up 700 sq ft of ceramic floor tile and removing remaining thinset material. Granted the gun isn’t designed for this use but it worked.Ran it with recommended 80 psi air pressure with 80 gal I R compressor.Out of the box I was surprised how heavy the gun was.Likes:Well made and heavy duty.Quick change bit holder.Nice size but long.Dislikes:Weight and balance very fatiguing on wrist.Has deep stroke making it difficult to handle.Have to apply lot of pressure to keep strokes short and rappid.Quick change chuck became dirty from dust and thus made bit removal difficult at best…even with oiling bit which made a mess.Air exhaust is around barrel and points toward work. Had to rubberband a sock around it to keep from spitting oil and blowing dust every where.Air pressure regulator knob at handle inlet would not stay in position…works back to full pressure.Shape of handle causes pressure against top of thumb web area and caused blister. Had to wear extra heavy glove plus taping padding to my right hand.I use high-flow aluminum air chucks and fittings. The vibration from this gun will destroy those fittings. I used 18″ hose whip and had no problems after that. All this said, I can recommend this tool for normal short time uses. On my knees hammering on a floor for hours was not good for myself or the tools. I broke three 3″ thinset removal bits. Welded the shanks and would break again in a different place. Used different manufacturers bits but still broke. Don’t think it was fault of gun…just manner of non-stop use.

Title: Hits very hard
Review: We are masons and use these too remove mortar from around stones on fireplaces and the like. These are absolutely the best at that job because they hit so hard. Because of constant use for hours on end the bit gets rounded over INSIDE the air chisel, this means that we cannot quickly change out bits. We need to remove the set screws and take the end apart to change bits. Itâs no big deal for us Iâm just saying that is what happens beating on cement for days on end. We probably should buy better quality bits.

Title: Great value, beast of a hammer.
Review: I figured this would be an ok hammer for the price, but it far exceeded my expectations. I used it with the needle scalar attachment and worked better than twice as fast as the HF scaler I used to own and is built much better.

Title: FANTASTIC AIR HAMMER. ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE.
Review: We all know Ingersoll Rand. They make great, GREAT air tools. This one is no exception. I work in a professional shop setting, and use both battery operated tools and air tools. Both have their place, but air tools still reign supreme if you need a bit extra umph. I initially was a bit apprehensive of the price for this air hammer, wondering if it would be enough for the applications I would be using it for… but after properly torquing the set screws down on the quick change bit retainer (use a proper 1/4″ torque wrench for this or you may not be putting the set screws on correctly), I was BLOWN AWAY by the power this little thing has. At under $100, this little guy is PERFECT for the jobs I’ve completed so far with it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE. DON’T WAIT. GET ONE NOW.

Review: Quality product at a very good price . Extremely powerful and durable. Iâve been using air tools for work for over 25 years now. This air hammer is at the top of the list for quality. Iâve had many quality air hammers fail on me over the years except for 2 of them in which I sold to purchase a new one. I would definitely recommend getting this one.
