Title: A Fun-Filled Learning Adventure
Review: This game has transformed math practice into an exciting adventure. My daughter can’t wait to be stranded on Math Island and solve her way to escape. The game is packed with fun, from rolling the dice to avoiding lava pits, it keeps them engaged from start to finish. Not only is it entertaining, but it’s also incredibly effective at reinforcing addition and subtraction skills. The equation dice add a fun twist, making every game different and challenging. The quality of the components is great, and the game is easy to learn, even for younger players.I’m truly impressed with the value for money. This game provides endless hours of fun and learning, making it a worthwhile investment for any parent. If you’re looking for a way to make math enjoyable, Math Island is the perfect choice!

Title: Great game
Review: My 7 year old and 5 year old love this game. Longer and more involved than I thought it would be. Far better than most of the games targeted at young kids.

Title: Replace the dice
Review: This game is great if you replace the 10 sided dice with regular six -sided dice especially for younger kids. The shape of the 10 sided dice makes it trickier to tell which face is up. Using a standard dice, there is clearly one face up and it makes the math easier. With a ten sided die, you could potentially go 20 spaces, that is way too far for the length of the path on the gameboard. A max of 12 spaces is much more reasonable. We liked to use the eruptable volcano to roll the dice on each turn, but we had to tape the volcano down on a board and place it inside the lid of the box so that we would not lose the dice. It worked great that way. The “special” squares make the game fun along the way, as well as the lava pit area.

Title: Fun, educational
Review: A great game for reviewing math facts. We homeschool and this has been so fun to help my younger elementary kiddos either learn their math facts or reinforce them. Get this game and add it to your school week. You won’t be sorry!

Title: Great addition to our homeschool
Review: My first grader has enjoyed playing homeschool games. I got this to change up the math games we’ve been playing and it’s perfect. Great way to introduce and review addition, subtraction, evens and odds. She mixes up 6 and 9 so this has been good review for this as well. We’ve been doing this in place of her math book for the last week and it’s been a nice change of pace. The game always feels a little different each time we play. Sometimes I end up in the vines, quicksand or volcano. She especially loves when I roll a subtraction equation that equals zero.

Review: It’s got pretty easy play for young children. A great way to practice addition and subtraction to 20. We bring out our set of counting bears for our youngest players and our older practice solving in thier head.If playing with 4 players, could turn into a long game when every player is landing on numbered squares and moving backwards, it was just the luck of our draws the other day but it was over an hour to play though. It had never taken that long any other game play. We just all had a day of unlucky sums that kept landing us backwards lolOverall, the kids really enjoy this one, and I love that it doesnt just involve counting spaces but also practicing addition and subtracrion to 20.

Review: It’s really difficult to find educational games that are actually fun to the point where the kiddos don’t actually realize they are doing work. My boys, aged 6 and 7 love playing this game over and over again even though it involves calculations, which they otherwise detest! This scores a 10 on the mommy-scale!
