Title: True to size, cheap and really good for the money
Review: I’ve been using the Men’s 2 in 1 Running Shorts for a variety of activities, and here’s my take on them.Design and ComfortThe 2-in-1 design is a game-changer. The outer layer is lightweight and breathable, which keeps me cool during long runs. The inner compression layer provides excellent support, reducing muscle fatigue and keeping everything in place. I don’t have to worry about chafing or discomfort, even on my longest runs.VersatilityThese shorts are incredibly versatile. I’ve used them for running, gym workouts, and even for casual outdoor activities. The combination of the outer and inner layers makes them perfect for high-intensity training as well as more relaxed exercises. The inner pocket is a nice touch, allowing me to carry my phone or keys without them bouncing around.PerformancePerformance-wise, these shorts excel. The fabric wicks away sweat, keeping me dry and comfortable. The elastic waistband with a drawstring ensures a snug fit, and the mobility is fantastic. Title: Can’t really expect more for the price
Review: At $10 dollars you can’t really complain, but I will say that the top level material of the shorts are super thin and I feel like I’ve been so close to ripping them both times that I have worn them. The draw string seems the same way, like I’ll break it if I really pull it tight. I actually decided not to workout my legs in these shorts because of the worry about ripping them.I’m not going to be putting these in the dryer either.I wear a medium but bought a large. They are a little big on me but still feel comfortable.I have also ran in them with my phone in the inside pocket and it was fine. Seam on the inside pocket is unstitiching itself after three uses.If these were $30, I’d probably be disappointed. At $10, they’re worth it and have held up quite well for the last couple weeks, including getting caught on a door where I was sure the material would have ripped or the stiching come undone. These are worth the price.

Review: *Addendum to the review below, a few weeks later:I was going to edit my own post with the caution that the lining not only isn’t compressive nor loose, it’s saggy and baggy with no form-fitting whatsoever. I was about to subtract a star, then hesitated- $10 isn’t supposed to buy high-quality shorts, just light comfy ones.They’re still light and comfy, but after one use, the elastic in one pair is already losing its oomph. See the pic. Now I have shorts that are worth $10 maximum, and a better deal would have been two for $10. I’ll still knock around in them when I don’t need performance, but these aren’t the find I originally thought. If $10 is OK for you for OK shorts, go for it. I prefer spending more for better goods, and would send these back had they cost more.Cheers.Original Review:The NIMOJIRO Men’s 2 in 1 Running Shorts aren’t going to be for everyone, but they are for me. I run, lift and study freestyle martial arts, and I’m always on the prowl for shorts that do everything. Of course, no shorts can do them all, but these are pretty good, and with the lightness and comfort they merit five stars.The Pluses++Light, light light. The outside material is a very thin but durable nylon cross weave, and it’s the right blend of thin and tough, good for a run, a lift or a bit of grappling.+Very comfortable. We dudes avoid things that crush and bind, and I actually forgot I was wearing these after a few minutes. The lining is soft, also thin, and doesn’t ride up at all.+There’s a little pocket in the lining. I know, duh- it’s in the pic- but I don’t have any shorts with one of those.The Minuses–The lining isn’t compressive in the slightest; it’s only sewn-in boxer/briefs, and not especially snug at that. Check the pics. Not necessarily a minus on its own, but if you want that close huggy fit, these won’t do it. I like close and huggy on the mat and in the weight room, but not so much running.The Takeaway:The NIMOJIRO Men’s 2 in 1 Running Shorts are keepers. They’re not as light as my TSLA or Soffe running shorts, as buff as my compressive lifting shorts or as hardy as my martial arts shorts, but the fact that I can wear them for all three of these at $10 a pop makes them a solid pick for a go-to pair of all-purpose cross-training shorts- I bought two pairs.Happy sweating, fellas, and keep your guard up unless I’m your opponent. Much obliged.-ZAddendum, a coupla weeks later: While I’m still keeping the 5-star rating, the liner is really, really loose, almost like boxers. They have zero compression, and they’re only underwear. I’ve worn them several times sparring and grappling, and they’re very light and comfortable, as I said, but there’s so much slop in the lining that I hesitate to keep all those stars up there. But again, they’re a great value. Just letting you know.
