Review: For a book written while bed ridden itâs wonderful! Jo, you are one of youre top 3 authors and I will forever love your work!Okay actual review time: in terms of dark this is light grey IMO. Please always read trigger warning as not all books are written equally in terms of context. Jo does amazing on giving us a possessive, morally grey man who loves with his soul.Mason falls first, and he does what he can to get her. Even if it isnât right, he also makes sure our girl is taken care of and refuses to allow her to feel responsible or guilty.Our girl Leslie, sheâs a little ball of anxiety and I love her because she is me and I am her. But once she gets over her fears and anxiety she allows herself to tear down her own wall around her heart and feel! (Girl needs to learn her hockey tho).This book was a solid 10/10 for a quick read (32 mins for myself) and a good fast pace. I love me a little grey and some hockey. Her new found bestie Lucy reminds me of my own bestie and I will be making her read this book so we can swoon over it together. Review: I loved the book. I love Mason. Leslie, just KINDA got on my nerves. She was all ‘oh no. We can’t’ and the next page she was confessions her love to him. It was random.Other than that, the book was great. Sexy parts were good. Mason was sexy. Would 100% recommend

Review: ð¶ð¶ð¶ð¶/5The first 16 chapters were very, very good. I enjoyed the pranks, the banter, the tension, and the teenage crush. After chapter 17, i kind of lost interest. The daddy kink was too much only because they are still young. His obsession just didn’t do it for me. I get it. They are 18, still learning what a relationship is, but still. I love a book where it gets stronger and emotions are felt the more I read, but it lacked something. I missed the pranks and banter. Something was just missing, in my opinion. I’d give this author another try.

Review: While I did not care for Masonâs approach to the entire wooing of Leslie, it worked out. I have to say I appreciated all aspects of it. He is so freaking possessive, protective, and obsessed that I am just enthralled with this MMC. I was on the same page with Leslie about him giving her whiplash lol; but I understood where he came from just like I could understand her viewpoints. It was such a well written story. It was beautiful and I just loved it. The spicy scenes were on point. I mean damn, you could just hear it and everything, itâs like you were there. This is one of my new favorite authors, hands-down. Would definitely recommend this book. I donât think the trigger warnings were that bad. I have read some really disturbing things and this is nowhere in comparison to that. The drugging aspect of it, I would say is not that horrible. In a way, reminds me of the shifter smut books. Only that would be natural pheromones, but tomato, tomatoe. Happy reading!!

He falls head over heels the second he lays eyes on the gorgeous girl at his dadâs wedding, only come to find that she is his new stepsister. To hide his attraction, he makes her life beyond difficult Leslie, aka his butterfly, gives it back to him just as good. But when it all becomes too much, this butterfly flies runs and leave him behind. He pulls some strings to put himself in her path again, but this time he is making her his.The teasing, banter, and spice are all on point on this book really enjoy it.

Review: So the pacing of this book didnât feel quite right to me. The beginning of the book, the bully part, felt like it was on fast forward and made the balance of the book (1 month later) feel like it dragged a bit a a result. I would have liked the bullying part to have been longer. I also felt like time between would have been better with a longer time gap apart. Maybe 3ish years. Meet again as seniors in University.Both Mason (crazy obsessed ðð) and Leslie were likeable. I am looking forward to coach and Lucyâs story, as well as the others.One irritating thing ð£ . Masonâs mother died of a car crash in the beginning and then of a degenerative disease that made her go blind and caused heart failure. Not sure how the author could have missed this. Unless ⦠she was blind while she was driving the car and this caused the crash ð¤·. Ok ⦠probably not.Anyways, rounding the 3.5 up instead of down because I enjoyed the books and want to read the side characters story. I also think this writer has great potential.
