Title: One of the most beautiful books I have!
Review: Hi! I have been studying Yoga for many, many years. And I love storytelling. I am fascinated by Hindu literature, from Vedic to Puranic to Itihasa like Ramayan and Mahabharat. This book is a great resource for Yoga students and teachers as well. It explores the origins of certain asanas, and narrates the stories behind them. I also enjoyed the interpretation of each story given by the author and how we can relate the story to learn about ourselves, life, relationships and the Divine. The graphics are beautiful! The quality of the book is excellent. The presentation is divine. I truly recommend this book for those who want to explore Yoga Asanas a little further, to relate with the poses in a deeper meaning.

Title: This is my new favorite yoga book.
Review: This book is an amazing resource for yoga teachers. I’ve been teaching actively for 20 years now and I adore this book. I read a story from this book to my yoga class last night and they LOVED it. The stories of each posture are so beautifully written and thought provoking. The additional information at the end of the stories provide so much insight and connection. I 100% recommend this book to anyone who wants more depth and connection to their yoga practice.

Title: Goddess Stories
Review: A beautifully bound book with excellent illustrations. This book explains the origin of so many of the yoga poses that we are doing and have been doing. Who knew? Not many of us, and also for us who have lived with the Indian gods and goddesses since childhood, these stories have brought them to life.

Title: Genius and Super Fun as well as Super Spiritual!
Review: Hari Om. I truly believe Dr Raj (been his student for a couple of years now) is what Earth, Ma Bhumi and inspiring yogis/yoginis/spiritual beings, religious beings.. whichever sentient being you identify yourself with would LOVE and ENGAGE with this book! Especially if you practice Asana. It would be important as a Yoga Teacher Training Guide ( I certainly would include in my TT’s) and a book just sitting down with your children to inspire them to believe in the Asanas and their Magical Myths. Dr Raj is such a Gifted Teacher. His Seriousness balanced with Humour makes learning Vedanta from his himself that much more Unique and personalised. His Passion and Respect for all things Yoga truly exuberates through his teachings… hence it brings us students back for more and more.. and a lovely community he has built for us! Thank you Dr Raj… May the Divine Mother continue blessing you. Om.

Title: Beautiful Stories – A Perfect Gift
Review: This is an amazing book written by an amazing Professor and guru of Indian mythology. I have already purchased 3 books! One for myself – of course :-). Joyfully, I have given this book as gifts of gratitude to my yoga teachers who have deeply affected my life. The stories are brilliantly written and easy to read and to understand. Moreover, the illustrations are so beautiful and engaging. I have read some of these stories to my children – they love them – but they REALLY loved to gaze at the pictures – you could see the wonder in their eyes! Thank you Dr. Raj for such a beautiful gift to all yogis and lovers of mythology.
