Title: Yeti Ice keeps my food colder longer.
Review: I once thought that all blue ice blocks for coolers were the same thing. I was wrong. The Yeti Ice is better for several reasons. First, Yeti Ice is sized to fit Yeti coolers in several configurations. Secondly, they are typically Yeti tough with a very thick skin which should last forever. Third, the blue liquid in the Yeti ice pack is specifically designed to interact with ice. I have used Yeti Ice with regular ice layered on top with great results. Yeti Ice when used with ice keeps my food colder longer. I am gradually replacing all my blue ice blocks with Yeti Ice. For me, it is worth the cost.

Title: Works fine but expensive
Review: This is an expensive brick of ice but I do like how it fits perfectly in the bottom of my (expensive) Yeti cooler. I have used these refreezable plastic ice bricks for years and this seems to preform much the same as the ones I have. What I do like about the Yeti ice is that it is easy to get a hold of with the hand slot in the center. That is a nice aspect of the design.If you have Amazon points to help with the cost or just don’t mind paying $30. for a block of ice then it will be worth the convenience of having something that is designed specifically for your Yeti cooler.

Title: Delivers the Chills
Review: Recently used this product in my Yeti Tundra 45 (along with a smaller Yeti Ice). I pre-chilled the cooler with a bag of crushed ice overnight. The next morning I drained the cooler and removed the remaining wet ice and added the Yeti ice to the bottom of the cooler and placed two blocks of ice on top and filled in the space with crushed ice from my deep freezer. The crushed and block ice froze into a solid mass–2/3 of my ice was still there after six days. Even more remarkable, I kept the cooler in the back of my black enclosed truck shell parked in direct sunlight–I’m sure the temperatures in there were over 120 degrees at times. If you are planning a long trip and need your ice to last this product works.

Title: I totally bought it for the Yeti name
Review: I totally bought this for the Teri name. I bought a yeti tundra 65 and I wanted a couple of matching ice packs that had the Yeti name on them. Yes, I spent three times more on them than I needed to but it made me happy. Hereâs what I like: *I bought the large 4 pound packs and theyâre bigger than almost all of the others out there. * the packs have rugged tabs on each corner that you could run bolts through to make a giant ice block (which I plan on doing). *They are built well. They do t puff up and swell in the middle like other packs I have do. *Yeti puts a 2 yr warranty (it might be three but Iâm afraid to check right now and lose everything I just typed here!) on these ice blocks.Hereâs what I donât like: *Obviously the price. Yes they cost a lot and as much as Iâd like to have all Yeti ice packs in my Tundra 65 and my Yeti silo, I just canât afford it. * I think thatâs all I donât like.Despite the steep price tag, I will still buy more ice packs from Yeti. I love my coolers and never have any problems with them and I expect to have the same luck with my Yeti ice. Paying extra for the ice packs give me peace of mind knowing that if I have any problems, my products will be replaced right away. Plus I really canât wait to bolt up a 16 pound Bloch of ice : ) Yeti is a great company that is worth the steeper price. I also wanted to remind people that the most important steps in keeping your cooler/ ice packs cold for a long time in your cooler happen the night before you put your ice in. If you just dump a bag of ice into your warm cooler thatâs been in the back of your truck in the sun all day yesterday, you arenât going to get the most out of your cooler. Instead, try putting your cooler somewhere cool the night before, like your garage, basement or even in your house and put a “sacrificial” bag of ice or, better yet, your Yeti ice blocks in it over night. The next morning your cooler will be totally cool and ready for more ice without half of it melting right away. Good luck!
