Title: Excellent Beginner Bass
Review: This kit contains everything you need to get started playing bass. I’ve wanted to learn since I was in high school, and my wife got this for me. I’m sure more expensive equipment is better, but this is an amazing price for everything you need to get started. I’ve been playing it every day, and it works perfectly. If you are considering trying out the bass, there is no better way to start than this set to have a great starting point and then upgrade items as you desire (for me, the strap and the cable were the first two).

Title: Solid starter kit
Review: Ok, so the amp, cord, extras: bottom end. Kind of what I expected for the price, but everything is functional and will get you going. The bass itself is surprisingly well built. If your getting it for a first instrument starter pack, go for it.

Title: Okay for self practice
Review: I bought this as a cheap way to practice while I was on an extended stay away from home. I keep it at my sonâs house so I can practice when I am visiting him.It is a full size bass, so proportion works for practice. The material is cheap and of lower quality, so the actual instrument is much lighter than my ârealâ bass. If you wanted to play with others should consider a setup which may cost more than the guitar, and a better amp. Frets need to be lowered to alleviate rattle. Amp is not adequate for anything but a little self practice. The extra string is a single string, not a set of strings. They send an extra G string. A set of quality strings would probably help alleviate some of the rattling issue.Saying all that, this is pretty much exactly what I expected when I ordered it. Worked well for me to practice my fingerings. The rattling turned out to be beneficial as it helped me improve my fingering to lessen the rattle.Since I was by myself when practicing the low quality sound was not an issue. Not terrible as a starter kit, but will probably not work well to jam with others. If you just need a spare to practice on your own this may fit the bill as a cheap alternative when you cannot access your regular bass.If you want to get something to start a garage band you should consider stepping up in quality. If you want a spare to keep somewhere for practice, this may be something that will work for you.

Title: good for starting
Review: i never played bass before and i don’t know how far i will actually take learning it. if i’m actually serious and stick with it for a while, then i can always upgrade it a year or 2 down the line but i was not going to spend a lot of money upfront for a “quality” bass if i didn’t know.the amp (and cable) works, the bass works, the bass is comfortable to hold, the strap holds (but i don’t really test it often since i’m sitting down most of the time), and the sound quality is pretty decent to me but probably terrible to the trained ear.perfect for starting and learning the basics which is what i’ve been doing since it came in. learned a few riffs, a song, and have no complaints so far. i dabbled a bit on an acoustic guitar that also has fret markers, but i realized that the bass has additional fret markers on the side of the neck which is super helpful for a beginner like me.i don’t use the picks so no comment there but it came with 13 picks and a holder. the tuner is pretty much useless since it *has* to be clipped to the actual instrument to pick up any sound and there’s nowhere thin enough nor convenient to clip the tuner to. i kind of figured it would be a cheap tuner anyway and never planned on using it. it also came with an extra string i didn’t need to use yet and a polishing cloth that i will probably never use.

Title: Good quality for a budget bass, good for beginners
Review: Bought this as a gift for my son who’s learning how to play…not disappointed, it’s a decent quality Fender style bass, there ain’t really any bells and whistles though it’s very simple in design but it looks great and was already set up and ready to go right out the box, good choice for beginners or anyone looking for a good budget instrument

Title: Great beginner bass
Review: I love the bass itself! The amp is ok but I bought a sweet Fender amp and it sounds a whole lot better now! Also the tuner broke the first time I tried it but download the free Fender app and it has a super easy to use auto tune as well as a metronome and different beats to practice to!
