Title: For Rehearsal Monitors
Review: I bought this for garage band rehearsals.I use a Presonus digital mixer and send a monitor mix to each channel and each band member has a floor monitor. It is enough power for a practice room and cost effectively allows each person to have their own mix.

Title: When you need to get it portable this is your Choice.
Review: When I first saw this amplifier I was sceptical about it being so thin and having enough power to do what was needed. I was blown away by the light weight vs sound reproductive ability. What I liked most was that the amp can be fed inputs from four separate sources or just one stereo source if that what you like. It runs cool and gives an acceptable amount of power for its rating. Only thing I did not like was the fact that the unit I had made a strange sound when its powered off at high volumes. Other than that this drives my horns beautiful. No more horn driver replacement for me. The cost saving on this alone makes this amp a must have for mobile DJ’s or a small live band.😊

Title: Nice 1U 4 channel amp
Review: I waited a long time before this became available and I think it is already kinda obsolete with the iNUKE series but it is a fine amp. Great for a bi-amp setup to power top end horns or small woofers. I use it more for 2 sets of control room monitors – Bose 101 4 ohm pair and Bose 301 8 ohm pair. Have also hooked up to a set of dual 10″ monitors which it powered no problem. Runs cool all night long even when bouncing off the clip indicator. Love the 1U form factor and 4 channels. Only about 75 watts per channel but it sounds like more.

Title: runs LOUD
Review: this is the single loudest amp I’ve ever used – and I’ve worked in this industry for 10 years now. It sounds OK for a 4-4 amp at this price point. But using this residentially without boxing it in is ill-advised. I have one in a commercial space, and you can hear it anytime it’s running.

Title: Swing and a miss
Review: I like Behringer in general, and I’ve had many amps over the years, so I feel I’m being pretty fair about this.First, the good parts. It’s electrically quiet. No hiss at reasonable volume levels with no input, and no pops or noise on power on or power off. I believe the spec of 90+ dB S/N ratio, or whatever it is. The controls are fine, the detents even between channels so balanced stereo audio is easy. It seems solid. Now the bad parts. Minor bad is that it’s a bit heavy for a class D amp rated at 50W/channel. Annoying bad is that the cooling isn’t designed properly. It has “left to right” airflow. That just isn’t supposed to be done with modern rack mount gear. Cold air comes from the front, the unit exhausts to the read. Racks aren’t built to cool side to side. Last bad part is that the input connectors are weird. They’re “combo 1/4″/XLR” which means they are cantilevering the XLR connection against the pins, and only connecting from one side. Just a lousy design. Just use XLR. If we need the other we’ll use an adapter cable. But the two significant bad things are that the fans are incredibly noisy, other reviewers are correct, and the power is low. This is advertised as 50W/8 ohms with four channels driven, and this will not do that without clipping. It’ll maybe do 30. It would be suitable for a single performer in a coffee shop or at a mall with people walking by. It would not work in any club. How noisy are the fans? I measured in front of the rack at 52dB with a calibrated meter. That’s noisier than a Honda generator. And it’s not white noise, it’s a wine. So these things are not suitable for a studio or office or even quiet gig, unless you put them into an enclosure that baffles the noise. This is significantly louder than other brand 500W/c AB or D amps.I’m giving this 4 stars, though, because there isn’t any thing else out there in this price range and physical size.To fix it? Make it 150W/ch/8 instead of 25. Reduce the fan speed by 16+dB. Reduce the weight. Fix the cooling to be front to back. Put standard input connectors on it. Make it 50% more expensive if required. Make it 2U if required.

Title: Cut out too often, made strange sounds, then smoked and failed driving 16 ohm speakers
Review: Started out ok but it would cut out at anything approaching full power, then it did not cut out so much, then it started making strange noises, then one channel stopped working, then it started smoking–had to turn it off quick so it would not catch on fire. and no I’m driving 16ohm speakers at mid volume driving altec A7 speakers (very light load on the amp). not worth returning do I throw it out and buy another one or will I still get the problem of it cutting out at 16 ohms. The protection circuit may only be looking at voltage and may be why it cut’s out at higher voltage (16ohms). compact nice amp but it failed

Title: I have it mounted with good air flow. It does a have a bit of a noisy fan.
Review: This is a good little amp. Versatile and while not rated real high in power levels it’s got the head room to punch it forward. I use it for a stage monitor system as it will do up to 4 separate mixes.

Review: It is currently being used in a rehearsal studio to push two 15” bins + horns. I have only used two channels so far, but this thing has plenty of power. The whining about the fan being noisy in other reviews is greatly overdramatized. The fan makes no more noise than any other power amp used for professional audio applications. If someone needs a power amp for anything outside of a studio or live application, remember this amplifier was never intended to be used for recreational audio listening environments. It is a professional audio power amp useful to musicians, DJs and some recording studio applications not for driving studio monitors or home theatre or audio speakers. So, as long as you are using this power amp for its designed purpose, the fan is absolutely not an issue at all.

Review: For the price this is a very good amp…..BUTDon’t be fooled by Behringers extravagant output claims.Into 4 ohms this delivers no more than 4 x 50w RMS.If you too are a vocalist, this is obviously very important.Had mine over 2 yrs and it’s been faultless.SO, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Review: I bought this to drive some transducers for my sim rig, as it was the best value for money to get 4 channels with adequate power and a form factor that is easy to integrate/hide.It has plenty of power and has done a great job. Three main things to note.1) buying the Speakon connectors will erode some of the value for money.2) the fans are super annoying, I’ve replaced with Noctua NF-A4x20 which are completely silent but this further erodes the value for money3) Sometimes it stops outputting sound and needs to be power cycled. There is no indication that this has happened so you’re left scratching your head why there is no output from your system until you realise the problem. I suspect it’s because it might be getting a spike which trips an overload protection circuit or something.overall a decent purchase but not the perfect solution.
