Title: Best budget headphones if you like bass
Review: I’m no audiophile, mostly because I can’t afford to be, but I do love listening to music, mostly metal and rock, but also lots of Asian (J- and K-) pop. I’ve tried several headphones from various companies, like Final Audio’s E3000 and Zero Audio’s Carbo Mezzo, both of which cost more than twice these CCA CRAs and I have to say, I far prefer these, both in terms of build and sound quality.First, the build on these are outstanding for the price. I love that the cable can be replaced, as that’s usually the part that breaks (though I’ve never had that happen with any of my headphones). The included cable is sturdy and it comes with a variety of eartips, but this is where I knock off a point for comfort. None of the included tips gave me a good seal, which caused sound quality to suffer. That was easily remedied with a pair of Comply foam eartips I had lying around. After that, wow!Also, despite the heft of each bud, these never feel heavy in the ear due to the hooks that wrap around the ear quickly and comfortably, something I can’t say for my Moondrop Chus.Now, on to sound quality. Once I switched out the stock eartips with the Comply foam tips, it was like night and day. Easily better than headphones I paid $40+ for. I listened to Nemophilia’s debut track, “Oiran,” on my Sony Walkman A25 MP3 player and a smile spread across my face. Most of my other headphones lack punch and tend toward more neutral sounds, perhaps feeling a bit technical and cold. These are definitely more fun and sound warmer to me.As I said, I’m no audiophile, so I almost never review headphones, simply because I know nothing about them other than if I like them, and I most definitely like these CCA CRAs, which are easily one of the best things I’ve purchased in 2022. My only caveat is that if you’re going to buy these, think about picking up foam eartips to go with them.

Title: Amazing for the price, but watch the fit and finish
Review: These are fantastic IEMs. They sound amazing, and the build quality of both the earphones and the cord (a rarity at this price point) is very good.The problem lies with the interchangeable plastic ear pieces. One of the ways that earbuds work comfortably is by creating a nice fit with the ear pieces. This product comes with 3 sets of ear pieces, and unfortunately one of the sets was decentigrating out of the box. Shame this passed QA since everything else is so nice.

Title: Hard of Hearing and Works Great
Review: Hard of hearing and it works great for me. Bought one and tried it out on radios, CD players, and laptop. Very impressed with sound and comfort, so I bought 2 more. One small issue is that you need to be gentle taking the earphones out of your ears. Several times an ear cushion stayed in one ear but I simply removed it. Not a problem; just be aware. The cords do tend to tangle a bit, one another slipping through the ear hooks. But, like I said, be gentle and store it carefully and youâll likely have little trouble.

Review: 1 Year Ownership Update: The cable is fragile and stopped working. The cable probably won’t last over a year of regular use. Consider upgrading. The built in microphone stopped working shortly after my purchase. The filters for earwax are tiny and fragile and CCA does not sell replacements. This product very much feels like a consumable.Comfort: If you have owned IEMs in the past it’s about as comfortable/uncomfortable as every other IEM. These are not any more or less comfortable than every other IEM.Bass: Despite the reviews and recommendations online, I wouldn’t recommend the CCA CRA for a bass head[Using Stock Tips]. These IEMs have virtually no sub bass, it’s all mid bass and there’s not much of it. If that’s your thing you might like it but it makes music sound boomy and hollow. The bass is 2 dimensional and not textured at all compared to something like the Moondrop Starfield is pretty decent at giving you a 3 dimensional textured bass. All you get is a little boom and on really bassy songs you get a little extra but that’s it.Edit: If you use Comply 500 foam tips you will notice the bass. With these upgraded eartips the bass does extend a bit lower than typical consumer earphones but not by much. The bass quantity is decent but I can see this disappointing people that really love their bass. Bass texture is still non existent.Mids: It’s a V-shaped IEM so the mids are unremarkable. I don’t think they’re horrible but that’s definitely not why you buy these for.Highs: These are on the brighter side but I wouldn’t say it has much clarity or resolution. On some songs the highs can get piercing and offensive but most of the songs I listened to weren’t like that.Overall Impression: These IEMS are truly unremarkable. The sound is hollow They do nothing well except cost next to nothing. They are better than nothing but worse than most other earphones. In my opinion the $20 Apple Earpods are a better value for the money. They are more comfortable and sound just as good if not slightly better.

Review: When my favourite IEMs finally died after 5 years of service and I couldn’t replace them (R.I.P. RHA), I started looking for a viable replacement. While researching I was surprised to learn that the quality of IEMs from China have skyrocketed in the past few years, leading me to pick up these ones.WOW! At $30 CAD these bad boys are just as good as my old pair that ran me $100 back in the day. I’m no hardcore audiophile, but they seem have a mostly neutral frequency response (maybe a bit V-shaped), which is great for me since I prefer hearing my music the way it was mixed. Bass is strong but not overly so or bass-boosted by any means. Mids and highs are crisp and clear. Vocals don’t feel drowned out by instruments. Sure, there are better IEMs out there, but I doubt you’d find anything else this good at this price, so this get’s the best value rec from me.My only criticism is the poor mic quality on the version that comes with a mic on the cable, which I should have seen coming. It’s practically useless for phone calls or voice chat, but I bought these mostly for listening, so it doesn’t bother me too much and thus doesn’t take any points off my review. Plus since the cable is removable, I’ll probably just get another one without a mic in the future. If you’re unsure which version to get I recommend getting the mic-free one so you have a TRS connector instead of TRRS, the latter of which may be annoying to use with certain DACs/amps/mixers/interfaces.

Review: Son super geniales suenan de maravilla por este precio no encontrarás algo tan bueno. En mi caso no me resultaron tan cómodos entre que las gomas o me quedan muy grandes o muy chicas y al no poder configurar la forma y orientación del cable que sujeta la oreja. Pero por este precio y calidad de audio es más fácil buscar gomas más cómodas y un mejor cable
