Title: Good, every day tempura paints
Review: As a preschool teacher/daycare provider I have been using these paints for over a decade (I wonât say how much over). My employer always purchased through discount school supply, but since I am starting my own home childcare I decided to purchase through amazon. Slightly more expensive here, but obviously no shipping fee, so….Anyway, like I said Iâve been using this brand of paint for years. Itâs perfectly fine for everyday childhood art projects, on paper mind you. Donât try using it on non-porous surfaces; it will dry up and flake off.Iâve used this paint many times for hand print art. The âwarmâ colors (namely red, brown, and purple) do temporarily stain skin red (well… pink) so donât use on picture day or anything. This can be true for furniture as well, but I have never had it permanently stain anything.These pigments do not mix very well. Iâve tried making other colors and they donât usually turn out very pretty. Not a deal breaker, but if itâs an important project I like to make sure I have the correct color straight from the bottle. Making shades with black or white is fine though.Consistency is good, not too thick, not too thin, easily watered down if needed. I like to water it down if using with foam stamps and a tiny bit for easel painting because it can be a tiny bit gloppy. This is mostly because little kids use too much. Careful not to use too much water though or it will wet the paper too much. (Like I said, experience! ð¤£)The seal that you have to remove before using was always a huge, messy, pain in the rear end, but it seems that most of the bottles now have a pull tab- huge upgrade!The white shows up well on dark construction paper, so does the yellow. Not completely opaque, but pretty good.Crayola tempura paints are definitely better, IMO, but they are pricey. Overall, these are good, every day tempura paints.

Title: Fantastic value for money
Review: I love the color selection and I like being able to dispense paint onto my kidsâ little white palettes without worrying about wastage because itâs sooo much paint! It has an odor if you put your nose close to it and sniff but nothing more than that. It stains skin though, and takes some scrubbing to get off, so I wouldnât buy it if my kids werenât good at using brushes and never, ever dipping their fingers in it. I certainly wouldnât buy this paint for toddlers but from 4 up (possibly 3, depending on the child), itâs a very good buy.

Title: Easy to clean, daughter loves them!
Review: My 3 year old daughter loves this paint. What a great purchase.As far as washability: every time she paints with these, I give her a white microfiber washcloth to wipe off her brush in between colors. Right after she’s done painting, I soak the washcloth for a few minutes and then wring it out and the paint comes out completely every single time. However, the couple of times that I allowed it to dry, it stained and would not come out. So the key to avoiding a stain is rinsing it out immediately.My daughter got a little red paint on our white door frame and I noticed relatively soon afterwards. It wiped off easily with a damp washcloth. I don’t know whether it would have stained if it had taken longer to notice it and wipe it off.
