Title: Great (but doesn’t replace an iron)
Review: Not the same as an iron but its tidy and easy to use and does a good job. I use it a lot because it is so easy – heats up fast and pretty light. So glad I purchased as I don’t love ironing. Would not say a total iron replacement, as it would not be good on starched shirts.

Title: Great Steamer But a Little Heavy to Use
Review: I purchased the Conair Handheld Steamer and I am very impressed with its performance. The long cord makes it convenient to use in different areas of my home without constantly searching for an outlet.Filling the steamer with water is quick and easy, and I love that I can steam 10+ shirts before needing a refill. The steamer works great and gets rid of wrinkles in no time. Also works as a deodorizer.My only complaint is that the steamer can be a bit heavy once filled with water, which can make it tiring to use for long periods of time.Overall, I highly recommend the Conair Handheld Steamer for anyone in need of a quick and effective way to steam their clothes.

Title: It has to be primed before use
Review: I bought this steamer, but didn’t test it or use it right away. I went away with friends last week and tried to use the steamer, but could not get it to work. Two of my friends who have steamers also tried, without results. The head of the steamer became hot, but the water container did not, no steam was emitted. I packed it up and planned to return it. Since I had purchased it 49 days prior – I could not return it to Amazon, so I contacted Conair. The rep asked if I had primed it, I said no and asked how that is done. She said plug it in, turn it on, and when heated, press the steam button and turn the steamer over for 45 seconds, then upright for 15 seconds and repeat up to 5 times, until a clicking sound is heard-all the while keepinging the steam button compressed. I told her I did not see those ‘priming instructions’ on the instructions included with the steamer and she said ‘they’re not on there’. I then asked how I or anyone else would know to do this prior to use, and she said ‘we tell customers when they call us’–WHAT? Call for what reason, to complain the product didn’t work? Anyway, I did as I was told, and the steamer worked great after priming. I’d have given 5 stars if the directions were inclusive.

Title: Highly effective for travel
Review: While Iâve been able to find smaller, more compact steamers for travel, they tend to leave me wanting – not hearing properly, leaking, voltage not easy to adapt for international travel. This one does have a little more heft than some other models. But it heats up in 30 seconds. One reservoir of water will steam 1-2 items depending on the fabric and size. The hinged head makes it easy to pack – you can either keep it straight or bend to work around the gaps in your suitcase. Very happy with this purchase at the right price point.

Review: I used it to steam out a large flag that I was custom framing and it worked very well. It is easy to add water, and empty it out. Instructions are clear as to use. I look forward to using it often. It is a very solid piece of equipment and fits the hand well.

Title: Good if you need 240V for travel, otherwise get another model
Review: I bought this model because I needed a 240V/dual voltage model that I could take with me on a long trip to Europe. For that purpose, it worked and it generally got the job done in terms of steaming. However, in using it both in 240V abroad, and in regular 120V here in the US, it doesn’t perform great. I found the water tank can only get me through 1-2 pieces of lightly wrinkled clothing. If you are doing something linen, for instance, you might find yourself filling the tank multiple times to finish the steaming job. I have another ConAir model (the Complete Steam which is about half the price of this model) and it performs SO MUCH BETTER. It is much more effective at getting wrinkles out, and the tank lasts much longer. It isn’t dual voltage, however. So my punchline: if you need dual voltage/240V, this model will get the job done. But if you are just looking for a regular 120V/use-in-the USA steamer, don’t waste your extra money with this model.

Title: Great for travelling
Review: I purchased this for my son’s summer destination wedding. I had multiple dresses and suits to steam for the week long events. It worked great and I used the tap water at the hotels. Yes, I had to refill the water holder multiple times, but refill times were reasonabe. Read the instructions. REMEMBER TO BRING AN ADAPTER AND TO SWITCH THE VOLTAGE BEFORE YOU USE. It will blow a charger out. That means buy the cheapo adapters like the adapter you use to make your US three prong to a two prong in the US older homes. Yes, it is heavier that the smaller ones, but my daughter brought a smaller one and it sputtered water creating water spots and took a while to work. For multiple outfits, this one is great. Taking it with me to NY and on my next trip to Europe trip. Good for at home as well.

Title: Compact and functional, but not for heavier fabrics.
Review: Pros: This item is very ergonomic to use. I love that it is dual voltage for ease when traveling abroad. Itâs compact size makes it perfect for travel; and itâs tank size allows for steaming multiple items of clothing. It is also very sturdy and unlikely to topple if left upright (kids and pets safety).Cons: Unfortunately for me, the primary reason I need a steamer is for curtains and heavier fabrics. This item did not work effectively on my curtains. It did, however easily release wrinkles on lightweight and medium weight fabrics.

Review: I love this steamer. I have another Conair steamer, but I don’t like the size of it. This one is a perfect size, easy to hold and steam with. Love that it stands up and has an adjustable head. Love that it has an on/off button and the steamer button turns green when it’s ready to use (pretty quick/under 40secs). Then you press the steamer button to start the steam. The only negative is that the water reservoir is very small. I steamed a jumper with this and I had to refill to complete it. So you can only do 1 piece (either a blouse OR pants) and the have to refill. Otherwise, I love love love the colour and size as it is very comfortable to use.

Review: The idea of a steamer is nice. When this Conair arrived I tried it twice and it worked well, except a bit of leaking what I thought it could be my fault. But day three the Conair is only leaking hot water what I even find dangerous. No steaming anymore. Do not by this product.
