Title: The cutest book!
Review: I recently received ‘Dog’s First Baby: A Board Book’ as a gift for my little one, and it has quickly become a cherished part of our reading collection. This delightful board book stands out for its charming storyline, engaging illustrations, and its unique approach to introducing a new baby in the family to young children. The narrative of the book is both heartwarming and educational. Told from the perspective of a family dog, it explores the arrival of a new baby in a way that is relatable and endearing. This perspective is not only unique but also offers a gentle and amusing way to discuss the concept of a new sibling with toddlers, making it an excellent tool for parents in similar situations. The illustrations in ‘Dog’s First Baby’ are vibrant and captivating. They perfectly complement the story, holding the attention of young readers with their colorful and expressive depictions. The characters, especially the dog, are drawn with a lot of personality and warmth, which adds to the overall appeal of the book. One of the strengths of this book is its durability. As a board book, it is designed to withstand the rough handling typical of young children. The pages are thick and sturdy, easy for little hands to turn, and resilient enough to endure repeated readings. The language used is simple and accessible, making it suitable for a wide age range. Younger children will enjoy the rhythm and cadence of the words, while older toddlers can engage more with the story itself. Itâs also a great book for beginner readers, thanks to its straightforward vocabulary and sentence structure. In terms of educational value, this book is a subtle yet effective way to address the themes of change, acceptance, and family dynamics. It provides a platform for discussing these topics with children in a non-intimidating and relatable manner. The only potential limitation of the book might be its specificity in theme. Itâs particularly relevant for families expecting a new baby or those who have pets, but its charm and quality storytelling make it enjoyable even for those who donât directly relate to the scenario. In summary, ‘Dog’s First Baby: A Board Book’ is a delightful and thoughtful book, perfect for young children. Its unique storyline, engaging illustrations, and sturdy construction make it an excellent addition to any childâs library. Whether as a tool to prepare for a new sibling or simply as a charming story to enjoy, this book is a wonderful choice that provides both entertainment and learning opportunities.

Title: A must have for both a family dog and a baby
Review: Well illustrated and funny book which will be appreciated by a dog and a baby as well. It’s explaining in right words dog-baby relationship and giving an ideas how to deal with both. We got this book a bit late, when the baby was over 1 year old, so missed some important stuff – our baby believes that dog should be a horse for him whenever he wants it, also he appreciates dog food being shared with him, as well as doggie’s crate and dog’s toys, especially the ones that squick. Well, one thing that pronounced in the book was not missed – they are great friends!!!

Review: The book was charming, with good pictures and helped introduce the concept of their new brother. They are still sceptical that he won’t have a tail, but sure!
