Title: Great Cable, Great Value!
Review: I’ve used every “big name” guitar cable you can think of and for the price and build quality, GLS Audio cables are impressive. I just ordered my first GLS cable and after roughly 10 gigs and numerous rehearsals, the cable has performed flawlessly (to this point). Quiet, great sturdy feel, classic tweed look (I play through boutique and vintage gear so the aesthetics are a nice touch), and the service after sale goes a long way as well. By that, I mean that the owner of GLS Audio (Bryan) reached out via email thanking me for the purchase and asking for an honest review of their product. I know that “please review us” prompt is part of the overall marketing mix to build customer/consumer loyalty but that attention to detail is a major P.O.D. in a highly competitive and crowded market segment. Kudos to you, Bryan/team! Also, for what it’s worth, I gig a lot and talk a lot (if you haven’t figured that out yet by this review!) so any consideration in the form of a modest product endorsement would be greatly appreciated! No need to provide product even, I would just like to align with a company that “keeps it real” and makes quality gear for working players. You really can’t go wrong with these cables at this price point. 5 of 5 stars!

Title: Very good cables!
Review: These cables work great between my amp and pedal board, as well as my pedal board and guitars. I use them every day and they hold up perfectly!

Title: Great quality for the price.
Review: I just purchased my first electric guitar after playing for twenty years with a classic Gibson acoustic. I needed a longer and quality cord for my Fender Stratocaster. This cord fits all my needs and is made to last. I would highly recommend it.

Title: This is a quality cable at a very good price
Review: I’ve been a musician now for about 15 years and I’ve used a variety of cables during that time. From no-name cables that come bundled with cheap starter amps, and plenty of 5-30 dollar cables from some of the biggest guitar brands, I’ve tried quite a few. For the price, I don’t think this cable has much, if any competition. The feeling in the hand of the materials is very solid, but also comfortable/soft. The cable is lightweight and feels durable. The outer fabric/material feels very solid and doesn’t seem prone to splitting/fraying whatsoever. The cable doesn’t tangle easily and feels sturdy to the touch and tough to bend/crease. A common issue with cables, especially more affordable ones, are the cable ends bending and causing the cable to short out. It seems they recognized this issue and have wrapped the ends with a thick rubber wrap to reinforce it at the areas prone to damage. The only flaw I imagine anyone having with this cable would be the color, but to be honest I love the vintage yellow/brown look. It would be cool if they offered a secondary color option, perhaps a black/blue color or white/red to fit different artist’s tastes and perhaps that is an avenue to improve upon. All in all for the price I am very happy with this cable. I just plug it in and forget about it. It doesn’t get in the way, it’s reliable, no hum/hiss/noise, and it’s affordable. Are there better cables out there? Probably. Should you spend five times the price for a 20% better cable? Unless you’re filling stadiums and making a living performing songs to thousands of people, I don’t believe so. Take care of this cable and it will last you for years to come.

Title: It’s the sad reality that most cables will break at some point
Review: I’m a gigging musician, and have bought/used quite a few cables in my day. It’s the sad reality that most cables will break at some point. It’s basically a matter of when, especially when you’re constantly plugging and unplugging them, running around stage, and stepping on them. That said, here’s my review.First, the good. This cables is long, works well out of the box, looks sick, and comes with velcro straps for wrapping it. It doesn’t seem to get tangled quite as easily as the vinyl cables (although it still does to some degree), and coils well. The cable itself seems to be high quality, and doesn’t noticeably introduce noise into the signal chain. Did I mention, it looks and feels awesome? You will look great, and have plenty of range on stage with this cable.Unfortunately, the jacks (basically, the only thing that matters for durability on an instrument cable) are low quality. I’ve seen a lot of jacks, and a lot of broken ones, and these jacks look a lot like the ones that break earliest. They’re still going strong after a month or so, but I haven’t put them through a lot of abuse. I expect them to break eventually. If you want something that doesn’t look at cool, but won’t ever break, check out the Monster plain black vinyl cables in this price range (I bought this cable because I lost mine). Their jacks are injection molded together (read, really strong), while the ones on this cable are soldered to a metal jack, shrink wrapped, and then screwed inside the jack (read, not quite as strong).Overall, a good cable, but if you’re looking for something to last you many years of hard use, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Title: I love this GLS instrument Cable!!!
Review: Beautiful, thick, heavy quality build instrument cable that immediately exceeded my expectations. So worth every penny invested here. I will be buying multiples again as I want one in every case and for every amp. This cable does not disappoint in any way and delivers clean signals to the amp for exceptional sound. My GLS is an every day cable for me. Highly, highly recommend.

Title: Been ordering these for years
Review: This is my third time ordering a cable from GLS and the quality has not diminished at all over the years. These are an absolute value and are comparable or exceed the more well known brands. The quality of the connectors are top notch and the wire is thick and has a high quality feel. I’ve had a couple for years and they are super durable and sound great with no static or reduction in signal quality. Don’t hesitate to purchase these cables.

Review: The GLS Audio Guitar Cable is made of high quality material and has operated as intended since I received it about one month ago. I have no reason to think that I will have any issues with it as you sometimes do with cables of lesser quality … and it has a cool vintage look
