Title: Easy assembly, fun for indoors
Review: I purchased this for my daughter to practice stick handling. She is easily able to put it together and take it apart. It fits nicely in her room and is perfect for what she wants to use it for. I like that I can purchase another box in the future if I want to add on to the square footage.

Title: Watch your step on these!
Review: I assembled these at a friend’s place to try them out. Before I could though, his king shepherd puppy went running across these to get to me. My first thought after witnessing the ensuing chaos was that puppy curling could be a new thing and substituted during the puppy bowl off-season.

Title: Durable materials, simple assembly, functional
Review: Durable materials, simple assembly, functional:I was very curious to see how well this product functioned when I first placed the order – as someone who is used to both ice and street hockey, I understood that there’s a pretty big difference between practicing on ice and practicing on concrete. And while street hockey is obviously more accessible during the offseason or when at home, the stick handling seems slowed down as a result of the added friction. Thankfully, this product really does work and provides a decent amount of area to practice on. The skating practicing element does feel noticeably different than real ice (although it does work), but the stick handling is greatly improved and this is a great product to practice your shots or handling at home. Assembling the pieces is simple and intuitive, as they connect together well and provide a seamless connection without feeling loose or bumpy. The materials are also very durable, despite their relatively light weight.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

Title: Perfect for A Little Driveway Skate Party in Florida
Review: I grew up in the Midwest, but when I moved to Florida, it was always a little sad that you couldn’t go over to a friend’s house to skate in their backyard pond that had frozen over.Likewise, we don’t have a lot of ice rinks around, so when it came time to decorate for Christmas, I thought it would be fun to set up a tiny “rink” in the driveway for the kids to enjoy while I ran the “fake snow” machine. These are expensive, yes, but they do work. Due to the cost, I couldn’t make a big rink, but it is fun to be able to set them up and take them down. I didn’t leave them out in the elements so they would last as long as possible. As a former goalie, these are also super helpful to do at home movement training when you can’t get ice time. Despite their cost, they’re far cheaper than ice time, so they’d potentially pay for themselves in just a few months compared to getting dedicated time in the crease. If you’ve dreamed of having your own rink at your house, but don’t have the right weather, or if you’re a goalie like myself who wants to work on movement drills at home, these are an AWESOME option.

Title: Work for stick handling practice, not for me to skate on though
Review: I’ve tried a couple variations of synthetic ice to practice off ice and it’s a really great way to do this at home.Practically all say you can use your hockey skates on them to practice some moves and what not. I’ve rarely experienced a synthetic ice that accommodates that with much realism and dulling my blades. For these that is the case as I wouldn’t benefit from anything on skates related. However, for stick handling and shooting surface do the job. Easy lock into place, no real seams to knock the puck off a glide. I’ve had them outside on a concrete surface that wasn’t exactly level and they conformed nicely. made a little mini rink with net and happy with it. These get crazy expensive with quality, so determine what you’re looking to do because you might find this option the most affordable, expecially if you’re not practicing your skating.
