Title: Doesn’t last forever
Review: In my experience, each one lasts about 8 months then craps out. I have it plugged into my gaming GPU so it probably gets a little warm. If you’re not using it to game it probably lasts longer. I just wanted a quick fix on a tight budget. I got what I paid for.

Title: Great discount active DP to HDMI converter. However, be warned that it does run hot.
Review: These converters worked well with 2k/75hz. Solid build quality. Picture quality solid and they are functional. However, if you run 2 next to each other (dual DP device), they run extra hot to the touch. Does not feel fire-safe, especially if tucked away. Even with just one, you will feel 100F+. Will not be good for device longevity. The one positive, when not being used (black screen/sleep), they do activate a sleep mode and cool down some. Went with another brand that are more expensive, run much cooler (~15-20F less), but do not sleep.
