Title: Nice set of tools for terrariums
Review: These tools appear too be well made and sturdy. They are easy to use and work well in my 28″ deep terrarium. I use the scissors to trim my plants, and the tweezers to remove the cutting and other debris that is beyond the reach of my hands. Overall, a nice set of useful tools for a reasonable price.

Title: Great help with planted tank!
Review: So fare, I love this set. I did a lot of research and this set had the best ratio of good ratings.I have been exceptionally cautious after reading reviews, to wipe them down after each use, for fear of rust. But, so far so good. I’ve had them a few weeks and see nothing to indicate that might happen, however I continue to wipe down. The straight tweezers gets the most use really and I find that with the angle on the other tweezers, they end up being a little longer (they are the same length but the curve reduces how far down I can get the root of a plant…it could also be that I am not adept at the use of the other one, or that it may be better for more delicate plants or something). The same holds true for the straight scissors, they give you just a little more reach, but again I think I have to get used to the curve. Think it depends on the leaf size or what you are trimming. The small, flat hoe was effective on the sand substrate in my shrimp tank.For my set up I probably could have gotten away with just the straight tweezers, the straight scissors, and the hoe, but I don’t think I saw a set of those specific three instruments. I’d just go ahead and get this set.UPDATE: 6 months later going strong and knock on wood NO RUST. Great set. Highly recommend. Note that I do wipe them after each use, but I’ve probably missed doing that once or twice, but still NO RUST. Not sure what the other raters are talking about, could it be a different product? I don’t even think these would rust if I left them soaking.

Review: Far less expensive than other alternatives. Considering that you’d have to spend somewhere around $30+ for a similar set, I’m very pleased with the quality of these Aquarium tools. If you feel like you don’t really need to have medical grade equipment, which you likely don’t, I’d recommend pulling the trigger on these if you’re into aquascaping or just want to be able to trim plants without having to do a water change every time.Update: Still no rust on my set at all, as some reviewers have described. I would recommend to rinse off your tools after use with clean water (no soap or cleaning products) and dry them off immediately, as I do to avoid potential rust. Also still sharp and useful as I expected.

Title: MUST HAVE for Aquarium plants
Review: I have many planted Aquariums. This are just perfect I use ALL of these items every single day. This has been a great value to me. No more hands and finger shaving plants back into the sand/dirt. The scissors are very sharp I like both the curved and the straight I find myself using them both equally. I’m like a surgeon in my tanks now! No more bull dosing through my plants with my hands! Very well made too I have no seen any rust at all yet and like I said I use them daily! I like the sand scrapper also this had come in handy a lot more then I thought it would. MUST BUY-

Title: Great, long lasting investment
Review: I bought these tools for my aquarium over a year ago. The tools are still in great condition. The scissors have a few small discolored spots (possibly from fishfood or other detritus). The spots seems superficial and could easily be buffed out. In the beginning, I was very careful to dry the tools after each use. I no longer even dry them and have had no issues with rust. This really is a good set of tools.Update: Itâs been another year (at least!) and the tools are still great. I never dry them and never have issues.

Title: Fish acquarium tools bought for gardening
Review: PROS-The “tweezers”: brushed stainless steel; light duty, but perfectly adequate for aquaculture and gardening. The gripping ends come together perfectly – no misalignment. Lengths: 10 1/2 inches end-to-end.The scissors: 10 inches, end-to-end. Bought specifically for the curved cutting blades, which are paper-cutting sharp. Can’t tell whether the finish is highly polished stainless steel or chrome plating.Cons: The shafts of the tweezers have rather sharp edges on 2 of there 4 corners. Not razor sharp, and nothing that can’t be corrected with a couple of passes with a fine grip emery board or very fine sand paper – a one-minute fix.Bottom line: I’ll most likely buy a second set.

Review: Errr…..It’s a pair of scissors – well made, wave shaped with a nice black finish which seems to prevent corrosion and they are sharp too. Allow comfortable access to trim carpeting plants, particularly. Pretty good price as they do what more expensive ones would do.
