Title: Built like a tank!
Review: This baby is easily the âCadillacâ of garment steamers, and I havenât even used it on an actual garment yet! I purchased it because Iâm swapping out all the Stone Age window treatments in my house for newer, better looking drapery, and nothing arrives more wrinkled in the mail than curtains/drapes that have made the trip on a slow boat from China. Typical Rowenta quality, well made and fairly heavy (2.95 lbs), despite being described as âlightweightâ by the manufacturer. At 1,875 watts, it heats up within seconds, and has several heat settings: low, medium, high, super high, and boost, with super high being most effective on those wrinkled drapes from China. It works horizontally as well, so would make an excellent â2 for the price of 1â appliance; you really wouldnât necessarily need a regular clothes iron if you donât do that much ironing, but if you do, Iâd recommend the next model up, which includes a microfiber attachment intended to capture lint and hair while youâre ironing your garments. Easy to use straight out of the box, no setup or assembly needed. Just add water to the reservoir and plug it in. Decent value as well, generally about what other manufacturers are charging for a garment steamer of similar quality and capability. Considerations: it does take up a little real estate at 11.8â L x 8.66â W x 6.69â H; and the water reservoir is a measly 7.1 oz., which gets used up pretty quickly when youâre steaming 7â H x 52â W drapery. A big plus is the 8.5â cord, which is especially handy in a Stone Age house with electrical outlets few and far between. Highly recommended!

Title: Game Changer
Review: This thing works very well on shirts or blouses but takes more time for pants. I’ve never used it as a iron so I’m not sure how well it creases. Very simple to use. I utilize my shower rod and a hanger. Takes maybe 5 minutes total to de-wrinkle my work shirt and pants. It uses tap water so don’t buy any distilled water like I did. Heats right away.

Title: Impressive
Review: This steamer is really powerful and does everything that it says it does! Iâm impressed so far. It is easy to use! It does not come with any type of bag to store it in, which isnât a deal breaker, but would have been nice. It is light and easy to hold, and I really like the trigger-style button that allows you to control when the machine releases steam. It heats up very quickly. It is a tad bulky, but I imagine they have to put all that power somewhere in the machine, so Iâm happy with the trade-off between size and power!I have concerns as to how long the water cartridge connection system will last. Everything just kind of clicks in and out of place, with no easy release buttons or clips.

Title: Disappointing Experience with Rowenta DR8822 Steamer
Review: I purchased the Rowenta Pure Force 2in1 Steamer & Iron with high hopes, but unfortunately, it has not lived up to my expectations.First off, the steamer leaks a lot, which is quite frustrating. Itâs also heavier than I anticipated, making it cumbersome to use for longer periods. The steam output is inconsistent and sporadic, which makes it hard to get a smooth finish on clothes.The water tank finishes extremely quickly, and for a device of this size, the water holder is surprisingly small. This means frequent refills, which is inconvenient during use. Overall, this steamer is not my favorite and I wouldnât recommend it.

Title: My favorite steamer
Review: I went to this steamer after using a Conair Turbo Extreme and must say is a vast difference in effectiveness of the 2. Often the Conair would leave close damp, even 3 minutes into steaming clothes but not something I get with this steamer. It also has 4 steam modes (Low, Medium, High, Super High) and this comes in very handy. Since this is a 2 in 1, steamer and iron, the metal sole plate is worth having and adds an additional aid in getting wrinkles out.My one issue would be the tank size, as I can barely make it throughb2 prices of clothing without needing a refill. Compared to the conair I would get almost double the clothes in before needing to refill, but I did also have to work harder to remove wrinkles with the Conair. Will say it’s kind of big, so do keep that in mind although I weight with water is not an issue. It also feels sturdier than Conair and doesn’t feel hot throughout the body like the Conair. The trigger used to activate the steam is a pleasant addition.Overall my favorite steamer ever due to its versatility.
