POWERFUL TREATMENT: Seachem Prime is a complete and concentrated conditioner for both freshwater and saltwater fish tanks, working hard to remove chlorine and chloramine.
REMOVER: Seachem Prime immediately and permanently removes chlorine and chloramine, successfully allowing the bio filter to remove ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate while they are detoxified for 48 hours.
DETOXIFIER: Seachem Prime effectively detoxifies ammonia, nitrite, and heavy metals found in the tap water at typical concentration levels, providing a safe environment for your betta, tetra, or other fish.
USE: Use 1 capful (5 mL) of Seachem Prime for each 200 L (50 US gallons) of new or replacement water. For best results, add Seachem Prime to new water first. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose may be used safely. For smaller volumes, use 2 drops per gallon.
SAFETY: In case of an emergency, the 5x dose of Seachem Prime may be used for both ammonia and nitrite. Use a ½ dose if the water temperature is > 30°C (86°F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low.

Title: The best, by far
Review: Prime dechlorinates water immediately and without having to use much Prime at all. With 12 aquariums, “a little goes a long way” is a necessity. It’s low cost and 100% effective and safe with all my freshwater fish.

Title: I love Prime for our Fish Tanks. It works great.
Review: I have only used Prime for our fish tanks and it works great. I have never had a problem with the water. I love that this bottle is so big. It was a great price for how much you get and it will last a long time. I will order again when needed.

Title: What the funk! This product is amazing!
Review:  I’ve always had ongoing water quality issues with my tank as I’ve made the common mistake of not waiting for the nitrogen cycle to take place, on top of buying fish all at once. I’ve spent tons of money on API QuickStart, AmmoLock, StressZyme, StressCoat, etc. API makes great products, but AmmoLock for example, binds ammonia into a non-toxic state, but still reads positive on the API Freshwater Master test kit. Which is fine because my little guys seem pretty happy and not stressed out. At the end of the day, that’s what hobbyists want, is for their creatures that are in the tank (against their own will and with the ability to do absolutely nothing about bad water quality except suffer!).Until I stumbled across this gem on the internet. The internet goes crazy about this Prime stuff. ‘Prime this, Prime that, have you tried Prime in your tank?’ Everywhere I went on the internet…Prime Prime PRIME! Because the internet is always right, I just had to try it.Put it in my tank…so far so good; fish is as happy as can be. Until I decided to run some tests on this out of curiosity.I took a reading of my tanks Ammonia and Nitrite level. Total Ammonia Nitrogen is 8ppm, which is bad, but the bad (or free or Un-ionized, however you call it) Ammonia, based on the system temperature and PH is around 0.05ppm which is pretty much borderline bad. My Nitrite is at 1-2 ppm, which is bad! I ordered the SeaChem Prime, as the API AmmoLock does not deal with Nitrites. So that’s starting to suck, right? My poor babies are probably on the verge of feeling crappy because of this (sigh).I took 2 more vial full sample of tank water, this time I added 2 drops of Prime to them. This stuff is super concentrated; did the calculation on 10ml for every 100 gallons equates to 2 drops for every 1 gallon of water (I.e. when doing a water change). I had 1 gallons worth of Prime in this little vial, so I was expecting very fast results.READINGS WAS DOWN TO ZERO! What?!?!? I actually did the test 2 more times before I concluded that yep; the internet is right. SeaChem Prime is tha bomb!!!!I finally found a solution to make my precious babies comfortable in an emergency ammonia/nitrite/nitrate spike. It’s so disheartening to see them unhappy and ill. They live in an environment against their own will just for my own happiness. The least I can do for them is provide them a comfortable home. And SeaChem’s flagship product Prime, allows me to do that. Thank you so much for this!!!!

Title: Best Seachem water conditioner.
Review: Removes chlorine, chloromine, several heavy metals. Converts ammonia NH3 to far less harmful NH4.Safe to even overdose a bit for stronger reaction. (Like when bleach or high doses of chlorine in city water.)Slight odor when in the bottle but tends to disipate smell once on tank water. Can store in it’s plastic bottles for a few months, so you can keep more than you immediately need in stock without worrying about it going bad.Best water conditioner on the market although a little bit more expensive than other competitors equivalent. Can be used to remove strong bleach chlorine after bleach is used to recharge spent Seachem Purigen packs.Great to occassionally add to already setup tanks to remove excess hazardous chemicals or on a water change or when completely replacing a seasoned tank water.Helps remove or detoxify some medications from aquarium water.High doses can effect ph, gh, kh short term and sometimes depletes oxygen levels in the water so try not to overdose.Safe to use with other normally dosed Seachem treatments. You cant go wrong when you make Prime your main water treatment product.

Review: This product has never given me any issues, it’s highly concentrated so very little goes a long way. My fish have never complained either… It does have a strong sent but not when added to water. It’s my go to, I always have some on hand.

Review: I’d been struggling for a few years trying to get good water for my fish and was relying on rain water for water changes.I was getting problems when needing to use the Hampshire tap water when it didn’t rain enough and adding Aquasafe just didn’t seem to help.I googled Seachem and thought it seemed expensive but wanted to try something that might work. This stuff requires 8 drops to my big 4 gallon water change bucket. I thought that can’t be right but it’s close enough. Along with the initial extra dose to sort tank out. My fish have been much happier. To the extent a gourami was wasting away and not eating. Now she’s back the the front of tank wanting food. It took 3 weeks for her to recover and fill out again.I will only use this now and actually works out very economical to use as you need so little per gallon.

Review: I find this is the best conditioner to use in my aquariums I have always used it for the past 3 and a half years and since I started to buying it on Amazon has been great as I would have to travel at least 50 miles to buy it in a pet store or aquarium shop as the nearest pet stores don’t sell seacham products so buying it on Amazon is a lot quicker and more value for money
