Title: Sterling Addition for my home.
Review: First off, I have a Shark Vacuum that has served me exceptionally well for 5 years now. I do take care of it and the fact is for carpet it is outstanding. I wash the filters frequently and replace the filters from time to time when they seem to be less effective. You cannot beat it for carpet. Thank you Shark people!We recently moved to a home that has a conservatory that is carpeted and I have an area rug in the living room. The remainder of the home is hardwood floors and vinyl tile. While having that combination is a great addition to our lives, it does get soiled and needs cleaning with more than a vacuum. I studied the options and decided what is ideal for me.I am in my 70’s but not a weakling, however vacuuming (the carpet vacuum cleaner is heavy for me, the wet mopping with a rag mop, and hauling a bucket of water is a huge challenge as I have about 1400 sq ft of hard floors. I wanted a light weight, no fuss alternative and by golly, this Shark light vacuum and wash is most efficient. I went to Shark first because I love the vacuum cleaner I bought 5 yearsThe new Shark Wet/dry mop is a bit more expensive than the other brand on the market. But that is the only comparison with the other brand that the Shark light vac/wet mop does not win. I mean it folks, this light weight battery-operated product is right there ready to go in my kitchen, it’s easy to use, it’s efficient and I can clean right when the mess is made with NO HASSLE. I highly recommend it.There is no cord to struggle with, it charges easily in about four hours, and can do about half of the hard floor in my house at a time. Frankly, if you follow the instructions word for word you simply cannot lose. It has no moving parts. The only thing you need to replace are the cleaning pads. They have a built-in vacuum compartment in the pad. You do not have to touch the dirty pads, there is an ejector.There is some critical points stressed in several other reviews that I found easy to avoid:1. I can’t get my whole house done on one charge. Ans: As you learn what works best for you, you’ll pick up speed. Or if you have a big house, you can plan to do the wet/dry cleaning over several days.2. I forget to reorder the pads and cleaner.Ans: Use subscribe and save!3. It leaves streaks of grit or whatever I am cleaning.Ans: Remember that you need to do the dry vac FIRST before you make the pad wet. If your floors are REALLY mingen (Scottish for filthy) you may have to change pads midway in the wet clean. You probably know ahead of time when your floors are extra nasty. It’s also easy to take the wet/dry outside and run the pad over concrete to pull off excessive large dirt, hair etc.I also have a lab mix dog and she sheds all year long here in the South. This simple appliance picks up the fur completely on the hard floors. This is neat, lightweight and easily handled.

Title: Works well on ceramic and vinyl flooring
Review: We bought this for our beach townhouse, we have ceramic floors and vinyl wood plank floors. Whatâs so nice about it it is you can suck up the sand and dirt before you wet mop. It does a nice job and you can quickly go from suction to spray mopping With the touch of a button. It is not noisy, battery life is OK for our 1100 Square foot townhouse, But with anything larger, you would probably have to charge. The pads that collect the dirt and do the mopping are kind of expensive, but for the versatility of the vacuum mop, I feel itâs worth it. It is the perfect wet mop for our condo. Because of the suction, it eliminates a full step and does better than a broom

Title: My new favorite cleaning pal!
Review: I worked as a housekeeper for many years and have always insisted on washing bare floors on my hands and knees with mild soapy or vinegar water. None of the products currently on the market (Swiffer, Bona, etc) actually clean, instead leaving a film that attracts dirt.After years of cleaning on my knees, those same knees donât work so well now. This little machine is a dream, and does an excellent job picking up the dirt as well as washing the floor, leaving it clean with no residue! It charges quickly and lasts long enough to complete a large job. Meant for bare floors, I tried it on my carpets and it worked great at picking up the stuff my dogs drag in on their fur. (I wouldnât use it to replace a regular vacuum, however.) The handle is comfortable and the triggers for the vacuum and cleaning solution are easy to use. Filling the cleaning solution tank is also quick and easy. It has a quiet but efficiently busy little motor hum in vacuum mode.CON: the cleaning pads get full quickly and are not a sustainable source.PRICE: Given my needs and the handiness of this little vac mop, itâs worth the price. I will make my own cleaning solution when the one it came with runs out, and I may try to use a microfiber cloth for the mop part to try to extend the life of the pad, both to save a little money, but otherwise I have zero complaints.

Title: Great, but if you have disabilities it has some cons.
Review: Pros:-good size-easy to use-great for maintenance cleaning-cordless-pretty lightweight-I have some physical disabilities that make cleaning challenging, even regular sweeping can be hard for me, so I really love the vacuum function. I was surprised how well it worked, even along the edges.-The mopping feature is also great. I love a good deep clean with a traditional mop but can rarely do that because of my health issues, this mop helps me stay on top of keeping my floors in decent shape.Cons-Disposable pads, but I ordered some reusable ones, so hopefully they will work.-the vacuum function is operated by holding a button down, which causes my hands to hurt because of my disability. I wish it was a push button or switch instead.Overall Iâm happy with it!

Title: Great product!! Does not disappoint
Review: I use this to sweep and mop. I hate stepping on crumbs or pebbles and I could never seem to get them all. I was using a broom and dustpan to get them up. I thought I would give the Shark Vacmop VM 250 a try. I am so happy I did. I was sweeping with a broom and mopping by getting on all fours prior to buying the Vacmop. Now I have 2 in 1. It works beautifully. The suction is excellent and it glides across the floor. When mopping, the solution comes out in a nice spray and you don’t need much. It gets harder to mop after spraying the floor but it is nothing. This cleans the crumbs and pebbles from the floor and allows me to walk barefoot. Love the mop. No more getting down on my hands and Knees to scrub the floor. The cleaning pad really is no touch. I pressed the button and it fell into the trash. Great purchase. I would buy it again.

Review: I really like this vac/map, itâs very practical for my home. Itâs great for daily cleaning and also just quick clean ups, itâs very light and easy to carry anywhere in the house. I find the suction to be very good. I mainly use it on the areas of my home with laminate flooring, so the pads do last for a good amount of uses. For tiled areas like my kitchen, that need a deeper clean, I use this more like a broom replacement and then mop with my steam mop, itâs still great because itâs just so much faster than sweeping.

Review: The vacuum it self is amazing quality. However, the quality they use is cheap and terrible quality. The plastic, the fabric or cotton wears out in just a few strokes of vacuum cleaner. The area or compartment that the dust and materials collected is very small. I donât commend to buy.

Review: Delivery was speedy. It was easy to put together and is nice and light. Cleanup has been so much easier with 4 kids. The only thing I dont like is that 1) the charge is not that long and takes 3 hours to recharge and 2) I keep hitting the spray button by mistake while vacuuming, but thats just me. Overall I love it!!
