Title: Better than I Had Expected!
Review: So this was better than I had expected. It started a tad slowly because the characters needed to be introduced, but once Blake got into that small town the story started up right away. And to my surprise it was actually interesting. The dialogue between various characters made the story move quickly and there were fun twists too.But what really made this story stand out was Special Agent Blake herself. She is definitely not your typical sour, serious by the book FBI Agent. She is clever, yes, but she doesn’t hold back her words and she says what is on her mind – yet somehow she is still polite. So in other words she is bold and feisty. And I definitely liked that about her. Without her the way she is this story would be a lot different. And while this is about a serial killer its not your average serial killer at all. There is a new twist in here and it certainly makes the story better. Plus as the story progressed Agent Wilder changed her mind about the killer as she learned more information.I do feel the story came to the end rather quickly. A tad too quickly even.I didn’t guess who the killer was.But other than the slow start (which is needed to introduce the characters) this was very entertaining and fun to read.

Title: A good story but
Review: I like Blakeâs character but she is too naive. Who goes out with a guy they meet once in the course of business? I donât like the banter between Blake and Astra. It slows the story down and Astra is annoying. Itâs filler. The ending was too quick and abrupt. The author needs to use her creativity to write a fully fleshed out story and not depend on chick banter. Itâs beneath their professionalism and lessons Blakeâs credibility. I like Pax Arrington much better! She should write more of those books.

Review: An interesting crime thriller but the first few chapters were full of repeating lines. Many paragraphs were repeating themes. There were even phrases reused. It got better as the characters were talking more. And all the characters were fit, trim and beautiful. Except for two bad guys. Predictable.

Review: This is an interesting and intriguing murder mystery that pulls you in from the first page. Unraveling the reason for the high murder rate in a small city, we are introduced to Blake Wilder, an FBI Agent, who is an excellent profiler, who must sift through old case files to find a pattern that will lead to the leader of a group of people, taking the law into their own hands. I really enjoyed reading this book and all the twists and turns of the investigation meant I could not put it down and I’m really looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Review: The storyline was written in first person narrative. While that is fine, the first 30 pages contained too much introspection. There were also some typos and grammatical errors which leads me to think the proofreading, if any, was hastily done. And the ending left the reader hanging in the air.
