It’s a reality dating show with one big catch…
…everyone has been tricked into being there.

Rising author Calla is struggling to move on after a tragic event completely destroyed her world. Her sister, desperate to help, convinces her to sign up for a reality TV show, The Next Great American Classic.

But upon arrival, Calla’s expectations are upended. The show isn’t about writing at all—it’s about finding love. How is she supposed to get through this when she still can’t sleep at night after what happened?

And then there’s Eli, a washed-up actor with a notoriously bad reputation. His charm is undeniable, and although Calla senses trouble, she can’t help but let her guard down each time he opens up or flashes one of his dimpled smiles.

Unfortunately for Calla, Eli might just be the perfect candidate to break her already fragile heart.

Title: Won Me Over!!
Review: This was my first romance novel. That typically isn’t my genre at all. But this was a page turner for me. I needed to know what was happening next. Almost just like watching reality television and I couldn’t put the remote down! Allison did a beautiful job at giving Calla and Eli depth as characters individually. But she also made the other characters just as interesting. This was truly an entertaining book! I highly recommend this read, you’ll enjoy yourself!

Title: Cute romantic read
Review: This was a super cute read. Eight people are lured to reality show to show off their talent, but there is a twist…Tough Love Each of the eight bring their own history and baggage to the show. The main focus of this book is on Eli and Calla. Eli is the son of a famous Hollywood actor whose bad boy reputation needs a little work (per his father). Calla is soon to be published writer who lost her fiancee two years ago and has completely shut herself off (per her sister). Like all reality shows there are challenges the contestants must complete. They are paired up and must work to get to know each other better, but are they sharing EVERYTHING. What secrets could be the undoing of everything they thought they knew? This is a light, romantic read, beautiful scenery, fast-paced, 0.5-1 chili spice rating, cute characters, characters who grow and change, and fun side characters.

Title: I loved this!
Review: Such a good romance with a couple twists and turns but nothing too crazy but still had a HEA. I ate this up! I read it in 2 days because I didn’t want to put it down! Definitely will be reading Allison’s other books!

Title: Forced proximity reality tv love
Review: I discovered this book on tik tok, and in an effort to read more indie authors, I picked this up. I adored this book so much. It was such a light read.I loved the banter between all of the characters. I think for me the only thing I would have changed, Trace & Danny *NO SPOILERS* It was a little too light on the spice for my taste, but I think this would be a really good book to recommend to new/young romance readers.

Review: I am so completely in love with this book! Calla and Eli’s love story was so real—ironic, considering it’s based on a reality show. Read it—you won’t regret it! 🙂
