Title: Perfect for turtle aquariums!
Review: This filter came fully assembled, ready to go right out of the box! No assembly required! I have a 55-gallon turtle tank with about 30 gallons of water. I love that I can adjust the flow with this filter to make the water go faster or more of a trickle. It has four suction cups on the back, which means I can adjust where I need it in the tank even if the water is too deep to set it on the bottom. It is fully submersible, but I prefer to have the bottom of the filter up off the bottom of the tank to prevent clogs. It has space in the back of the filter to add your own mediums as you want to. Pour a little beneficial bacteria starter into the filter and you’re ready to go! My turtle can be a bit of a monster when it comes to tearing filters off and away from the glass, but she hasn’t managed to move this one – excellent little suction cups in the back. Overall, I love this filter. It’s quiet, it’s sturdy, all parts are reusable, it came fully assembled, and it works!

Title: Nice filter for low water aquariums
Review: This a great filter for my low water turtle tank. It’s very quiet and is doing a great job. I just wish the cord could be a bit longer. I have it in about 9″ of water in the turtle tank and it’s working great, in conjunction with my Whisper reptofilter, they both Keep the tank really clean with weekly water changes. Which you must do no matter how good your filter works. too me its also a quite soothing white noise late at night when the house is quiet, it just sounds like a waterfall and can be peaceful. It stays in place with the suction cups. so if your tank is a low water design, this is the filter for you. I’ve also tried it in an aquarium full of water, it doesn’t have to be used only in low water aquariums, it works well in either situation.

Title: Two water dumps and water still remains cloudy
Review: I expected to have to refresh the water so the filter would start on a clean base. Within a day the water turned cloudy, and I figured maybe it needs sometime to work so we changed the water a second time and more intense cleaning. Now 3 days later our water is filthy and filter works more as a waterfall than an actual filter. Iâm disappointed because the reviews were misleading. Iâm embarrassed to post but to show what the water looks like as of today I will post a picture.Note our tank is about 30-35 gallons and water level is a quarter full.

Title: Great for low water and super quiet
Review: We have tried a few turtle filters by now and some do really well in some aspects and fail in others this one seems to do pretty good all the way around.-It came in well packaged and in great shape.-It is very simple to set up. I really appreciate the four suction cups on the back to hold it to the tank’s side. We have had some that either come with nothing or just two and then the filter gets âplayed withâ and ripped apart.-It is great for low water levels and can run with just over an inch of water.-The filter itself is extremely quiet, we actually donât notice it at all over the sound of the water.-So far it does a great job at keeping the water clear.Whether you have a low or high water level situation this filter is a great option.

Title: Filters well, but suction cups don’t work all that well.
Review: I would have given this 5 stars if the suction cups worked well. This is meant to sit on the glass and filter the water up through the bottom. I had to set something underneath this to keep it from sliding down the glass, completely submersing the filter. Other than that, it works well and worked right away. 6/10

Title: Love this brand
Review: I’ve purchased a smaller size filter from this company before, and so when I saw this filter I knew I had to have it for my larger fish tank. It’s super quiet, if I’m not sitting right next to the fish tank I have to look over to see the water is still flowing.I love the dial on the top that lets you control the water flow. I have baby corys currently, so I have it turned down, but I’ll be gradually turning it back up as they grow bigger.The media area is super roomy, and it’s easy to take the cartridge it comes with out for cleaning or to replace the media. There’s a bunch of space you can use for other filter media or just leave empty.It’s also really easy to clean. The suction cups on the back grip the glass well, and I’m not worried about it falling off. If you are looking for a good aquarium filter, you really need to check this brand out.
